Updated M-style Guide

Well, it's been a long time since there's been a update to the m style guide, so I figured I would write a updated guide that includes things that weren't included before. First before I write the guide, It's necessary to let m stylers know that m-style is performed best at a constant 250fps. Also, if you don't have a gaming mouse, you'll want to increase your mouse refresh rate (hz) to 500hz from the standard 125hz. Dragon Gate : Dragon gate is performing multiple slash/blocks in one jump, but cancelling the jump as well. (Jump>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block) There are varying levels of speed with dragon gate, and each level is about 10% faster than the last.

Dngx1 : jump>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block (or Tbf>dbf

Dngx2 : Jump>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block ( or tbf>tbf

Dngx3 : Jump>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block (or tbf>tbf>tbf)

Dngx4 : Jump>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block>spacebar in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block>space in midair>slash>block>slash>block>slash>block (or tbf>tbf>tbf>tbf (Note: Each of these levels of dng are performed with a cancelled jump, if you don't cancel the jump, you simply chained a tbf, which isn't difficult, it's possible to do 100 tbf chains,but it's only possible to perform dngx4, maybe dngx5)

Dngx5 (theoretical): if possible, dngx5 would be the same as dngx4, just with an extra cancelled jump.





Tortoise Gate is best performed at 250fps, and is simply blocking at the upmost speed, possibly allowing for animation lock. There's nothing more to this gate than finding the right timing for blocking.







Tiger Gate is performing a butterfly at the highest possible speed, and if performed properly will have a silent dash in a recording. (Note: If you get fast enough, you can animation lock a tiger gate while on the ground). There are 2 stances, ground and air. Air animations locks a lot, but ground can animation lock as well if you keep a consistent fast timing.

Tiger Gate Stance 1 (ground) : Jump>dash>slash>block>repeat

Tiger Gate Stance 2 (air) : Jump>dash>slash>block>dash>slash>block>dash>slash>block>repeat (only jump once to get started)






Phoenix gate is doing a ground butterfly at or near the fastest possible speed, and if performed properly, you won't hear a footstep while performing it. (Note: it's possible to animation lock this gate, but very uncommon). There are 2 stances of this gate:


Phoenix Gate Stance 1 : slash>block>walk>repeat

Phoenix Gate Stance 2 : slash>slash>block>walk>repeat
